Harry Ritchie is a full-time writer who has published two novels and four books of non-fiction. His works include: Friday Night Club, The Third Party, Success Stories, Here We Go, The Last Pink Bits and English for the Natives. In addition, he edited the anthology, New Scottish Writing.
Former literary editor of the Sunday Times, Harry joined the Cultural Fellows at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2015 and is keen to pass on his knowledge to students.
His most recent book, English for the Natives (2013), is an attempt to combine a guide to the rules of English with an introduction to linguistics; a subject he thinks hasn’t been popularised and desperately needs to be. With a passion and interest in language, Harry is a welcomed addition to GCU’s cultural engagement community.
