She is currently in her second year of a PhD programme, focusing on examining the success factors of tourism on the Scottish Islands. Her research aims to identify key elements that contribute to successful tourism on these islands, providing insights that can benefit both local communities and policymakers.
Doriana holds a BSc in Tourism Management and an MSc in International Marketing. She also earned an MRes in Research Methods and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Environmental Psychology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
With 15 years of professional experience in the tourism and aviation industries in Scotland, Doriana brings a wealth of practical knowledge to her academic pursuits.
