Dr Liarokapis is a Lecturer in the Department of Cyber Security and Networks within the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment. Dimitrios received his BSc degree in Informatics and Telecommunications from University of Athens, Greece, in 2004, his MSc in Advanced Computer Networking and PhD in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks from Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland in 2006 and 2013 respectively. He was a Lecturer in Computer Networking with the School of Information and Communication Technology at Bahrain Polytechnic between 2011 and 2017 where he also served as a Programme Manager for Networking for 6 months. Since February 2017, he has been a Lecturer in Cyber Security and Networks with the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment at Glasgow Caledonian University. His current research interests include 4G/5G Cellular Networks, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, Vehicular Networks, IoT and Sensor Networks and his work has been published in relevant international journals and conferences.
