Dr Dimitrios Liarokapis

Department of Computer ScienceDr Liarokapis is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science within the School of Science and Engineering.
Dimitrios received his BSc degree in Informatics and Telecommunications from University of Athens, Greece, in 2004. He obtained both his MSc in Advanced Computer Networking and his PhD in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2006 and 2013 respectively.
Dimitrios was a Lecturer in Computer Networking with the School of Information and Communication Technology at Bahrain Polytechnic between 2011 and 2017 where he also served as a Programme Manager for Networking for six months. Since February 2017, he has been a Lecturer in Cyber Security and Networks with the School of Science and Engineering at Glasgow Caledonian University. His current research interests include 4G/5G Cellular Networks, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, Vehicular Networks, IoT and Sensor Networks and his work has been published in relevant international journals and conferences.
