Careers Service

Craig joined GCU Careers Service  in January 2023, and has management responsibility for the team of  Careers Advisers. Working closely with and deputising for the Head of Careers, Craig supports the leadership and management of the Careers Service. In addition, Craig has a small careers guidance caseload, delivering careers advice, guidance and education to departments within the School of Health and Life Sciences.

Prior to moving into higher education in 2014, Craig worked as a Careers Adviser at Skills Development Scotland. Since then he has worked at The University of Edinburgh as a Careers Consultant, and thereafter held management positions at the University of St Andrews, as Assistant Director (Career Management) of the Careers Service, and at the University of Edinburgh as Head of Student Support and Experience, within the School of History, Classics and Archaeology.

He has a MSc in Careers Guidance from the University of the West of Scotland, is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a Prosci Certified Change Management practitioner.
