Dr Constantinos Choromides

Constantinos Choromides is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Programme Leader for the Research Project, focusing on enhancing management effectiveness through reflective practice and applying theory in work-based settings. Since 2017, he has played a key role in curriculum development, review, and management of Business & Management apprenticeship programmes at the university. He has also led the Railway Operations Management programme (South Africa) and the Applied Professional Practice MBA.

He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh, an MBA from the University of Stirling, and a BSc in Marketing from the University of La Verne. Constantinos is a Senior Fellow of the HEA and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Management Institute, bringing over 20 years of academic and industry experience.

Before joining GCU, he was Programme Leader at Athens Metropolitan College, managing Business and LLB programmes in partnership with UK universities including the University of London, Queen Margaret University, and the University of East London. His prior industry experience includes managerial roles in telecommunications, financial services, consulting, and real estate.

Constantinos contributes significantly to GCU London’s employability strategy, leveraging his leadership and cross-sector expertise. His research interests include the internationalisation strategies of Multinational Enterprises, management learning in organisations, inclusive and flexible curricula in work-based education, and the role of TNE partnerships in transforming human capital development.

He also serves on the international editorial advisory board of the Journal of Urban and Regional Analysis and has provided consultancy across sectors such as FMCG, IT, energy, local government, transportation, healthcare, and finance.
