Alicia’s role as a Strategic Business Development Specialist at the Institute for University to Business Education (IU2BE) involves working with employers to resolve workplace planning, human capital issues and skills gaps across Scotland, the UK and internationally.  IU2BE’s portfolio includes a range of work-based education offerings including Graduate Apprenticeships, bespoke employer workforce programmes, upskilling programmes and Credit rating.

Alicia is the University's business lead for our credit rating services where GCU work with third party providers to academically credit their learning programmes.

Alicia’s background is in marketing, business development and policy change and prior to her current role, she has worked extensively across local, national (UK) and European government departments as well in the private and non-profit sectors and as a freelance consultant.  Alicia has a degree in European Audio Visual Production from the University of Humberside and a PG Dip Marketing from the Oxford School of Marketing awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
