Christina is a senior lecturer in broadcast journalism, works freelance as an on-air senior journalist at BBC Scotland, and is a consultant trainer for several commercial radio stations, specialising in writing and presenting radio news.
Her career started in 1989 at West Sound Radio in Ayr, after which she worked as a reporter/presenter for Radio Clyde, Grampian TV and STV news. She has fronted two TV documentaries and is the author of Mind Your Language! Writing with Impact for Broadcast News.
She is passionate about preparing students for the journalism industry, has received several teaching awards and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
