Khor returned to GCU in 2018 on receipt of a PhD scholarship from The Carnegie Trust. She is an alumna of the BSc (Hons) Podiatry degree in GCU and worked as a podiatrist for NHS Dumfries and Galloway following her graduation in 2016. Khor’s PhD is titled ‘Elastography and ultrasound of the Achilles tendon and plantar soft tissues in Diabetes’, which seeks to understand the development of diabetic foot ulcerations. This aligns with her research interests in the prevention of complications associated with diabetic foot disease.
