Alan Yeung is a research fellow in the blood-borne viruses research group within the School of Health and Life Sciences and a healthcare scientist at Public Health Scotland. His background is in applied statistics and his PhD focussed on statistical applications in the analysis of vaccine-preventable diseases.
Alan’s research areas include hepatitis C, HIV PrEP, people who inject drugs, and novel psychoactive substances. A particular focus is on the Evaluating the Population Impact of Hepatitis C Direct Acting Antiviral Treatment as Prevention for People Who Inject Drugs (EPIToPe) project.
