Katerina Papadopoulou is a researcher in Health Economics at the Yunus Centre for Social Business and Health. Her research interests include economic valuations with stated preference techniques, economic theory, complex interventions and micro-econometrics. She is currently involved in the following research projects: PREdictors of COVID19 OUtcomeS PRECIOUS and Developing Realist Economic Evaluation Methods REEM . Also, Katerina teaches on the Health Economics module as part of the Master in Public Health.

Katerina has a PhD in Health Economics from Glasgow Caledonian University, undertaking an economic perspective to value (arts-related) public goods for use in public health. She completed an MSc in Applied Economics at the University of Aberdeen and a BSc in Public Administration with a major in Public Economics at Panteion University in Athens. During her studies, she was awarded an internship programme in the Scottish Government.

She has memberships with the Scottish Health Economics (SHE), the UK Health Economic Study Group (HESG), and the British Academy's Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network.
