GCU London’s work will focus on child and adolescent mental health

Our GCU London campus was named a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre in Sustainable Child and Adolescent Health and Wellbeing. Improving the health and wellbeing of young people has been identified as a global priority in recent years that requires an interdisciplinary approach.

The designation - a clear recognition of our expertise in the field - sees the University join an international network supporting the WHO’s strategic programmes around the world. The initial focus of GCU London’s work on this will be child and adolescent mental health. Professor in Public Health Antony Morgan and Professor in Global Adolescent Health Candace Currie are Co-Directors of the new Centre.
