What is my commitment to the GCU Career Mentoring Programme?

You must agree to all the following options to be considered for the GCU Careers Mentoring Programme

Time commitment * You are committing to 1 hour a month of engaging with mentoring over a 6 month period. Please note that the duration of your mentoring relationship can be shorter/longer depending on what you agree with your mentor.
Mentor contact * Our mentoring relationships are led by the student, so it is your responsibility to initiate contact with your mentor and respond to their emails promptly. If you have any other commitments or responsibilities, we advise you to let your mentor know so that they are aware.
Professional conduct * You are expected to behave in a professional way throughout and can seek help from the Career Mentoring Team at any point if needed, as we understand this may be the first time some students have had to communicate with someone in a professional context.
Non contact * I accept that if my Mentor has not heard from me within 10 working days of being assigned to them, I may become liable to be withdrawn from the programme.
