The London Insurance Market Charitable Trust are proud to support GCU’s 150^th Anniversary campaign.

Formed in 2001, the Trust is led by a group of senior professionals from the London insurance market and offers widening access opportunities for the next generation of graduates seeking a career in the industry.

The Trust have generously supported scholarships, and facilitated industry engagement, for talented risk management students since 2023 with their commitment growing each year.

For over four decades, Chairman of the Trust, Dr Mike Hammond has been a prominent figure in the global insurance industry. He said:

“We're very, very proud to be associated with GCU and its 150^th Anniversary, with support for the risk management courses. I was once a kid from a council estate who didn't have any background in the industry. I was very lucky that certain people took an interest in my early years and gave me opportunities. So, this is a way for me to give back
