Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Courses

Essential steps on your career path

In today’s competitive working world, lifelong learning can give you the edge. Not only are specific qualifications vital to a successful career, your knowledge needs to be updated and refreshed on a regular basis.

To do that effectively, we understand that you will require the maximum of flexibility in your programme. In order to allow you to balance full-time employment with part-time education, our professional programmes are available via a variety of study methods including, evening, day-release and open learning.

You can browse our module catalogue which contains details of all modules taught at Glasgow Caledonian University. The catalogue provides standard information for a module including a summary description of the module content, teaching and learning methods, syllabus, learning outcomes, indicative reading and methods of assessment.

To apply for these modules individually, please email the Admissions team ptugadmissions@gcu.ac.uk

For details of our module fees, contact our Finance team using arstudent@gcu.ac.uk or by phone on +44 (0)141 331 8195.

Along with your application, we require supporting documents which allow us to make an accurate decision with regards to your eligibility, while also providing you with a fast and efficient response to your application.

We would ask that you send copies of certificates/transcripts for your completed qualifications and an academic or employer reference along with your application. We request that you submit a reference along with your application (not just the referees' contact details).

However, if this is not possible at the time of application and all other entry requirements are met, a reference may form part of your offer. If you're unsure, please contact us and we'll be happy to advise.
