MSc International Construction Project Management

The MSc International Construction Project Management course aims to equip you with the skills necessary to manage construction projects, both in the UK and overseas. This means that you'll will have the opportunity to develop the abilities, frame of reference and, critically, a common understanding of the construction project management 'language' to work more effectively with international clients and organisations.

The course has proven to be popular with international students and the intake has continued to grow in recent years. It is further anticipated that the enhanced project management skills on offer will prove popular with industry as CPD. These core skills remain significant components with the professional membership criteria of the course's accreditation bodies, namely CIOB, RICS, APM.

Entry requirements

UK honours degree 2:2 (or equivalent) in construction, surveying or civil engineering related subjects.

All entry requirements listed here should be used as a guide and represent the minimum required to be considered for entry. Applicants who are made a conditional offer of a place may be asked to achieve more than is stated.

English language

English language requirement: IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no element below 5.5.

Each application to GCU is considered on an individual basis. If you do not have the typical academic entry qualifications, but can demonstrate relevant work experience and/or credits from recognised professional bodies, you may be eligible to enter this course via the University's Recognition of Prior Learning scheme.

If you are an international applicant and do not meet the academic requirements above you may be eligible for an International Graduate Diploma at INTO Glasgow. Based in our Glasgow campus, successful completion of an INTO course with the required grades provides you with a guaranteed conditional offer of a place on this degree.

Modules are assessed by coursework (sometimes known as continual assessment).
