The Library Desk

The Library Desk is the enquiry desk on level 0 of the Sir Alex Ferguson Library. You can get lots of information from the links below, and from the student home page, but if you can’t find what you need, please ask us. Our staff there will:

• show you how to use Discover and other library services
• refer you to your librarian for further support and information on how to search databases
• borrow and return items
• answer some of your questions right away and direct you to some of the services you can use including: student funding team, careers, childcare, employability, and international student support service
• help with queries about systems like e-mail and GCULearn
• give you basic IT information and refer you for help with other equipment
