As part of its commitment to promoting health and wellbeing and reducing its environmental impact, Glasgow Caledonian is working with Halfords to offer staff a Cycle to Work (CTW) scheme. These schemes encourage employees to take up more active modes of travel by removing barriers to bicycle ownership. The scheme remains open throughout the year.
We have partnered with a variety of hotels in the local area to provide members of staff, guests of the university, students or event organisers booking with the University, with reduced rates for accommodation in Glasgow. The rates are also open to friends and relatives.
Staff can benefit from membership of the Glasgow Credit Union, the most successful Credit Union in the UK, for saving accounts, insurance, fixed and variable rate mortgages.
