Learning Development Centre (SCEBE)

SCEBE Learning Development Centre

Welcome to the Learning Development Centre for the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment. We provide students with academic support to help them maximise their potential in areas such as academic writing, English for academic purposes, mathematics, ICT, and general study skills.

The LDC is staffed by a team of experienced academic development tutors, with particular areas of expertise and skills. Students are encouraged to contact the LDC while studying at Glasgow Caledonian University for help and support with their studies.  Students can arrange to see a tutor either on a one-to-one basis or in a small group. Appointments can be held on-campus, or online using MS Teams or Collaborate Ultra.

Access our online support resources on GCU learn (note: you will need to be logged in to GCULearn first). You can also access online resources via the sub-headings listed on the left of this webpage.

Appointments can be booked online and you can also request an appointment by emailing askLDC@gcu.ac.uk
