Senate

The University Court has delegated to Senate the following of its functions: overall planning, co-ordination, development and supervision of the academic work of the University and such other functions.

The functions specified above are discharged by Senate subject to the general control and direction of the University Court. In discharging these functions Senate shall have all the powers and duties of the University Court in relation to those functions and shall have the power to make any recommendation to the University Court on such matters relating to those functions as Senate may think fit.
