Wendy Mazzucco
Senior Lecturer in Accountancy

Wendy Mazzucco is a senior lecturer within the Department of Finance, Accounting and Risk. She is programme lead for the accountancy undergraduate programme at GCU.
Previous to working at the University, Wendy worked in commercial audit at Ernst and Young, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. She then went on to work for many years in commercial and public sector audit of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Following that, Wendy worked in the Internal Audit Department of Glasgow City Council where she undertook a project evaluating corporate governance within the council.
Since joining GCU Wendy has completed a MSc Research Methods and has also become a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is currently undertaking a professional doctorate. Wendy teaches on both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in her specialisms of audit and corporate governance. She is a Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales.
