I have a bachelor and postgraduate diploma degrees in accounting from Damascus University. I also have a master degree in financial management from Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences. In 2012, I completed my MSc in banking, finance and risk management from GCU. Recently, I have obtained a postgraduate certificate in research methods from GCU as well. The focus of my PhD study is about the interaction between economic factors and bank performance and efficiency. I worked in Syrian banking industry for seven years followed by three years of teaching in the higher education(undergraduate level).
