Shahid Nawaz Shahid has been an academic since 1993. Prior to this, he was a banker and had worked in the Middle East and the UK for over 10 years.
Shahid holds a master's degree in International Banking and Financial Studies from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and a Postgraduate Certificate in Tertiary Level Teaching from Glasgow Caledonian University.
He is a member of the Institute of Financial Services England and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK.
