Dr Salma Darwish Mohamed

Department of Computer ScienceDr Salma D. Mohamed is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science in the School of Science and Engineering.
She received her BSc (Hons) and MSc degrees in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Egypt, in 2008 and 2010 respectively. Following this, she obtained her PhD degree in Optical Communications Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in 2015.
Before joining the department of Computer Science in 2019, she worked as an Occasional Lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian.
Dr Mohamed has a number of publications in renowned journals/conferences. Her research interests are wireless optical communications systems, optical networks, wireless optical energy harvesting, and RF communications systems.
