Ross Markac

Ross qualified as a registered adult nurse in 2006. Initially working in a variety of surgical settings before focusing on the critical care environment.

Ross has many years of experience in critical care, having worked in both general and cardiothoracic Intensive Care. He obtained his nursing qualification from Glasgow Caledonian University and holds a postgraduate teaching qualification that is registered with the NMC.

Since joining Glasgow Caledonian, Ross has worked as a lecturer in adult nursing, on the undergraduate nursing programme.

His key areas of interest are the use of technology to enhance and improve both face-to-face and online teaching, and using simulation to develop student nurse practical skills.
