Dr Rosemarie Lynass

Rosemarie graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2002. Since then Rosemarie has worked at GCU in various roles including researcher, academic development tutor and lecturer. Alongside her academic work Rosemarie has gained several qualifications as a counsellor and Counselling Psychologist, including a Certificate in Counselling Skills, Certificate in Relationship Counselling, Diploma in Counselling and a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. Rosemarie has offered psychological therapy in a range of clinical settings during this time, including primary care, the voluntary sector, secondary schools and higher education. Rosemarie is currently module leader for the level four Counselling Psychology module on the Applied Psychology programme and has the role of Counselling Lead across the undergraduate programme. Rosemarie has published research related to the student experience and clients’ experience of counselling.
