Paul Queen is the Chief Financial Officer at Glasgow Caledonian University, leading financial performance and delivery of the University’s financial plan focused on ensuring the University is financially resilient and sustainable. A member of the University Executive Group, Paul is responsible for all aspects of Finance including, procurement, internal audit, insurance and risk management. Paul also currently has responsibility for the management of the University’s Estate, Campus Services, commercial activities and operational sustainability.
Paul has significant higher education experience having held a number of positions at the University before becoming CFO, including Director of Finance and Director of Financial Planning. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a Business Studies degree in 1999.
Paul is the Vice-Chair of the Scottish Universities Finance Directors Group.
