Julius is a Researcher in the BEAM Research Centre with an interest in counter-intuitive and innovative solutions for important problems. Julius researches topics related to construction and urban sustainability, sustainable buildings and cities, water and water systems, air pollution, change, and decision making. Multiple subject areas enhanced his interest in discerning interdisciplinary approaches to address global challenges. In multidisciplinary research, Julius uses participative methods and his main research methods are quantitative, qualitative and case study research. He has a strong interest in processes of change, interactions among people and the construction of the built environment, sustainable in every sense, allowing for resilient development.
