Megan Glancy
Research Fellow
School of Health and Life SciencesMegan Glancy currently holds a Research Fellow position at Glasgow Caledonian University in the Blood-borne Virus research team and the Substance Use research team, and is an honorary Healthcare Scientist at Public Health Scotland.
Megan previously worked as a Data Manager at Public Health Scotland and as a Scientist at the UK Health Security Agency. She has an MSc in Applied Statistics from the University of Strathclyde and undertook a PhD at Glasgow Caledonian University under supervision of Dr Norah Palmateer, Professor Andy McAuley, and Professor Sharon Hutchinson.
Megan’s PhD and current research is focussed on evaluating the impact of public health interventions on substance use in Scotland (‘EPHeSUS’) and internationally (‘TRANSFORM’).
