Centre Senior Administrator
Yunus CentreMargaret Munro is Senior Research Centre Administrator within Research and Knowledge Exchange Services (RKES), supporting researchers across the Yunus Centre for Social Business and Health and the Glasgow School for Business and Society. She provides administrative leadership and research support for the Yunus Centre, with responsibility for coordinating research administration, financial processes, project delivery and strategic activities, while supporting the wider research community within GSBS.
Margaret works closely with academic staff throughout the research lifecycle, supporting the development of research grant applications, managing project finances, overseeing post-award administration, and ensuring compliance with funder and University requirements. She coordinates national and international research collaborations, organises international conferences, workshops and engagement activities, and contributes to strategic planning and the management of the Centre's operational budget.
Margaret graduated with a degree in Business Management from the University of the West of Scotland in 2011. After more than a decade working in the private sector, she moved into higher education, beginning her career as a Staff Development Assistant at the University of Glasgow before joining Glasgow Caledonian University. She has since built extensive experience in research administration, supporting researchers, research centres and internally and externally funded projects across a wide range of disciplines.
