Dr Keith Halcro

Dr Keith Halcro is Director of the University’s Professional Doctorate suite, having previously occupied other roles in the University including Head of Subject, Management Undergraduate Suite Leader and MBA Director.
He has lectured on strategy since joining the university in 2006 and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has been involved in teaching and supervising undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students in the UK, as well as a visiting lecturer at universities in Azerbaijan, Germany, Poland, Spain and Taiwan.
His consultancy includes work with Princes Trust, Scottish Chambers of Commerce SPX, Scottish & Southern Electric, Transnet Rail Freight in South Africa, and Vp plc.
His research focuses on strategy, but also issues surrounding doctoral supervision, having previously been an executive member of UK Council for Graduate Education.
