Kathleen is a Lecturer in Quantity Surveying within the Department of Construction & Surveying – School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment. Kathleen joined Glasgow Caledonian University in December 2019 having come from working as Team Leader of a multi-disciplinary team in East Renfrewshire Council. Kathleen has a wealth of industry experience including working in Private Practice and the Public Sector. Kathleen achieved Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors early in her career. Kathleen has a wealth of experience with the construction industry working on many, many projects and a variety of contract types. Her primary interests and focus lie in the tendering and procurement of construction projects and measurement.
