Kaitlin is an analytical chemist with a PhD that investigated circular approaches to municipal wastewater treatment under the influence of micropollutants. She became a lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2017, specialising in the application of chemistry in an environmental context. Kaitlin currently leads the BSc (hons) Forensic Investigation programme. Her current research interest is waste crime and the remediation of organic and inorganic pollutants within the environment.
