Julie Fisher

Julie is the Business and Client Services Lead within Research and Knowledge Exchange Services, driving high‑value employer engagement and delivering a confident, responsive client service for Graduate Apprenticeships and Knowledge Exchange activity.

She joined Glasgow Caledonian University over twenty‑six years ago and has built deep expertise across admissions, compliance and international partnerships, holding senior roles including Head of Admissions and Head of Operations (Admissions/International Partnerships). In these roles she led centralised admissions services, coordinated international mobility agreements and supported compliance across undergraduate, postgraduate and transnational education.

Julie brings extensive experience in service improvement and collaborative working. She partners closely with employers, programme teams and business development colleagues to shape a consistent, high‑quality client service that strengthens relationship management and supports GCU’s Graduate Apprenticeship and Knowledge Exchange priorities. She plays a key role in defining service expectations, ensuring clear communication pathways, and supporting the delivery of responsive, insight‑led engagement with employers.
