Assistant Head of Learning, Teaching and Quality

School of Health and Life Sciences

Jamie is currently Assistant Head of Learning, Teaching and Quality for the School of Health and Life Sciences and is Director of the Learning Development Centre.

In these roles, Jamie is involved in delivering on the University’s strategic imperatives in relation to learning, teaching, quality assurance and enhancement. Jamie also provides teaching and supervision in a range of programmes across the School and University. He is also engaged in educational research in the broad area of interprofessional working, education and collaborative practice.

He is a member of the School of Health and Life Sciences Educational Research Group. An occupational therapist by profession, Jamie has previously held a number of roles at GCU including Research Fellow, Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Assistant Head of Psychology, Social Work and Allied Health Sciences.
