Widening Participation and OutreachIrena brings a wealth of experience from the higher education sector, having held a range of administrative and student support roles across institutions in both England and Scotland.
Since joining Glasgow Caledonian University’s Widening Participation and Outreach team in 2016, she's played a key role in shaping and streamlining administrative processes to support the effective delivery of programmes in schools and colleges.
In addition to her core administrative responsibilities, Irena oversees the recruitment, training, and management of the Widening Participation and Outreach Student Mentors.
She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Administration, Management and Leadership, and in 2018 completed the Aurora leadership development programme for women, delivered by Advance HE.
