Dr Hanna Kharchenko
Lecturer in Strategic Management
GSBS Department of ManagementDr Hanna Kharchenko is a Lecturer in Strategic Management with over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She holds a PhD in Economics and Management from the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (2013), where her doctoral research focused on the strategic development and efficiency of agri-food enterprise potential. She also holds a master’s degree in Management of Foreign Economic Activity from the same university, awarded in 2009.
Before joining Glasgow Caledonian University in 2024, Dr Kharchenko held Associate Professor positions at higher education institutions in Ukraine, where she was actively involved in teaching and curriculum development across a wide range of modules and courses.
Currently, Dr Kharchenko teaches Strategic Management, Contemporary Issues in International Business, Project Management and Global Strategy and Sustainability. Her research primarily focuses on strategic management, sustainable development, food security, and proactive environmental practices, with a particular emphasis on supporting entrepreneurship through economic and informational tools.
