Fiona Roche

PhD Student

Fiona graduated from Strathclyde University in 1996 with an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning. After working in planning and the built environment for 17 years, Fiona returned to higher education to study for a BSc in Operating Department Practice, graduating from GCU in 2016. After a period in clinical practice and teaching, Fiona recently started a full-time PhD based within both the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment and the School of Health and Life Sciences at GCU. Fiona’s PhD will focus on the role of the built environment in infection prevention and control and the management of IPC issues within the development of new hospital buildings.
