Dr Farhad Sadeghineko

Department of Construction and Built EnvironmentFarhad is the Programme Leader for the BSc (Hons) Building Surveying and a Lecturer in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Construction Technology within the Department of Construction and Built Environment at Glasgow Caledonian University's School of Science and Engineering (SSE).
He holds an MSc in Architecture, an MSc in Construction Management, and a PhD focused on generating semantically enriched 3D retrofit building models using semantic web technologies. Farhad has also contributed to the leadership of a variety of master's level programmes delivered in the UK and in conjunction with international partners, including MSc International Construction Project Management, MSc Quantity Surveying, and MSc Construction Management (Oman).
His research interests encompass digital construction, digital twins, BIM, digital data collection technologies, spatial modelling applications, construction management digital systems (CMDS), digital building surveying, information management (IM), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), sustainability in the built environment, energy efficiency, building performance optimization, digital quantity surveying, and digital asset and facilities management.
