Widening Participation and OutreachEmily has extensive experience working in higher education and widening participation. After joining Glasgow Caledonian's Widening Participation and Outreach department in 2017, Emily has managed the Advanced Higher Hub, College Connect and currently manages the University’s Corporate Parenting and outreach programme for Care Experienced and Estranged Students.
Emily works closely with schools, colleges, local authorities and social work teams to ensure Glasgow Caledonian University entry for widening participation groups and support learner transitions.
Emily is committed to the University’s mission for the Common Good and has a keen interest in evaluation to ensure our widening participation programmes facilitate student progression and success.
