Elaine Brennan is a Lecturer in Quantity Surveying within the Department of Construction & Surveying – School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment. Elaine has recently joined Glasgow Caledonian University, full time, in January 2019 having come from working in a commercial role within the rail industry. Elaine has a wealth of industry experience including working in both private cost consultancy, where she attained Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, as well as, working commercially for Contracting organisations. Elaine has worked on a breadth of industries including Construction, Rail and Marine & Technology and on a variety of contract types. Her primary interests and focus lie in the tendering and procurement of construction projects and construction contracts/law.
