Dr Dora Regoczi

Lecturer in Applied Psychology

Dora is a lecturer in Applied Psychology, an HCPC-registered Sport and Exercise Psychologist, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She joined GCU in September 2019 to begin her PhD and started teaching the following year. Dora now teaches across both undergraduate and Doctorate programmes and leads the Interventions in Applied Psychology 2 module. She also supports students through research and practice supervision.

Her research interests include educational research—particularly exploring student experiences and learner agency—and applied sport and exercise psychology, with a focus on promoting physical activity after stroke. Dora is a member of the SYNERGY research group.
