Colin works as an academic development tutor in the Institute for University to Business Education (IU2B) at Glasgow Caledonian University, teaching and supporting UK and transnational work-based learners studying railway operations management programmes. Prior to joining GCU in 2017, he worked in roles supporting international students studying university pathways programmes as well as teaching EFL, ESOL, EAP, IELTS and ESP in Japan, Spain and Singapore. His research interests include academic writing practices, academic literacies, English for academic and specific purposes and work based transnational education.
