School of Health and Life SciencesCatriona O’Dolan is currently Trial Manager for the NIHR funded PEPPY Trial investigating the effectiveness of supervised pelvic floor muscle training plus vaginal pessary for management of pelvic organ prolapse. Her previous experience of managing large scale randomised controlled trials includes; the ELECTRIC trial investigating the effectiveness of tibial nerve stimulation on reducing incontinence in care home residents; Game of Stones trialling a text message with financial incentive intervention for weight loss in men.
Catriona has a broad ranging interest in behaviour change interventions to improve health outcomes, having completed a PhD in 2018 on the use of prompts to break sedentary behaviour of office workers.
An advocate for the benefits of mixed-methods in research, Catriona is a member of the editorial board of the UK Trial Managers Network.
