Amy is an Occupational Therapy lecturer and co-administrator for the Occupational Therapy Blog. She gained her MSc in Occupational therapy at Queen Margaret University in 2014.

Previously, Amy was working as an occupational therapist within the south Reablement team at Glasgow city HSCP. She began her journey as an occupational therapist within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde within in a stroke rehabilitation ward, which inspired her to study the use of different interventions for upper limb rehabilitation in stroke for her MSc project. She has been a student supervisor for the BSc and MSc Occupational Therapy final year research projects since 2015.

As of 2020, Amy will be the level 3 year co-ordinator for the BSc Occupational Therapy Programme and will be commencing the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice.
