GCU has developed a strong reputation and status in the international fashion marketing and retailing sector for developing academic programmes for professionals who are currently employed in the industry, as well as those involved in associated areas such as manufacturing, property development, accountancy and business consultancy.

In 2013, a five-year partnership between GCU British School of Fashion and Marks & Spencer was formed. Working together, we have created an annual scholarship fund to support new talent in the fashion business sector and established an external working design studio at GCU London.

AllSaints

Established in 1994, AllSaints is a leading international fashion brand. The brand opened its first stand-alone store in London in 1997. Since then it has grown rapidly and today has 65 stores and 35 concessions across the UK, US and Europe. Throughout its expansion the brand continues to retain its original sensibility; focusing on innovative design, detail, graphics, technique and fabrication for men and women.

Since 2009, AllSaints has provided 20 scholarships for GCU London students on the MSc International Fashion Marketing course.

House of Fraser

Premium department store group House of Fraser is renowned for its designer brands and exclusive collections and is one of the biggest names on the high street with 62 locations across the UK and Ireland.

The company has sponsored three scholarships for GCU London's MBA in Luxury Brand Marketing over the last four years.

Santander

GCU is part of the Santander Universities' Network of more than 700 universities in Spain, Portugal, Latin-America, China, Morocco, Russia, the US and the UK.

As part of the agreement, students and staff have access to study and research opportunities all over the world. Santander has also shown its support for GCU London by offering students part-fees scholarships.

Howden

Headquartered in Scotland, with companies in 16 countries and nearly 3,500 staff, Howden is a truly global engineering giant.

A partnership between the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment at GCU and Howden has seen 100 postgraduate engineers travel from 16 different countries to complete a specialist operational training course and graduate from the Howden Academy, which uses the world-class learning facilities of Glasgow Caledonian University.

Company managers have confirmed that the academy has reduced the time it takes to turn new graduate engineers into effective employees and will allow them to maximise and share existing company knowledge and expertise with colleagues in countries such as China, Russia, India, South Africa, Germany France and the USA as well as in the UK.
