Michael joined the Yunus Centre in 2017. His primary research focuses on Macroeconomics; Economic Modelling with a secondary focus on Political Economy; Social Entrepreneurship; Financial Stability. This research is jointly supervised by Simon Teasdale, Cam Donaldson and Olga Biosca.

The working title of Michael's thesis is: The Microfoundations of Social Enterprises and the thesis seeks to develop economic models for social enterprises that explain, estimate and predict their decision-making (economic behaviour) regarding pricing and production in market economies.

Michael is a Commonwealth Scholar and is a tutor for Global Social Entrepreneurship.
