Michael joined the Yunus Centre in 2017. His research focuses on examining the economic behaviour of social enterprises and empirically assessing their potential contribution to economic growth and development. This research is jointly supervised by Simon Teasdale, Cam Donaldson and Olga Biosca.

Michael is a Commonwealth Scholar who, prior to joining the Yunus Centre, completed an MSc in Economics and a BSc in Economics & Statistics (Double Major) at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona. He also works as a Senior Financial Economist in the area of Financial Stability at the Bank of Jamaica and a Research Associate at the Office of Social Entrepreneurship at the UWI Mona.
