Linda is completing a PhD in Health Economics under the supervision of Dr Gordon Hendry and Professor Helen Mason. She is conducting research into the valuation of the benefits of musculoskeletal rehabilitation in order to explore the health economic implications for managing common musculoskeletal complaints.

Currently also working as a researcher (health economics), she has been involved in economic evaluations of clinical conservative interventions, and of children’s orchestra with public health benefits (using Cost Benefit Analysis methodology to estimate the economic value of participation in Big Noise Govanhill). Linda has prior degree and postgraduate level qualifications in Human Resource Management, Psychology and English Literature, along with extensive prior experience in central government policy design, development and delivery.
