Enrico Bellazzecca

Enrico joined the Yunus Centre for Social Business and Health as PhD student in October 2016. His research focuses on social enterprise as public health intervention. Using a mixed methods approach, his study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a community-led arts initiative run by a social enterprises and involving older adults from deprived urban settings. The research project is jointly supervised by Olga Biosca, Simon Teasdale and Dawn Skelton.

Prior to joining the Yunus Centre, Enrico completed an MSc in Social Business and Microfinance with a dissertation on Italian microfinance (Glasgow Caledonian University), both an MA and BA (hons.) in Humanities with majors in aesthetics and linguistics studies (University of Urbino, Trinity College Dublin). He also worked as editorial consultant and digital editor for one of the leading publishing houses operating in Italy, and as junior project manager and brand consultant for a creative interior design agency based in Bologna (Italy). He collaborated to the Getty Foundation Project for the National Museum of Palazzo Venezia in Rome as editorial assistant and translator.
