Ellen Vanderhoven

Ellen is a Researcher on the COOL Music project, which aims to support young people with experiences of trauma through music-making and creative expression. Ellen is leading an evaluation of COOL Music as it extends its reach to new contexts and communities.

Ellen joined the Yunus Centre in April 2019. Prior to this, she worked as a Research Assistant on the H2020 YOUNG_ADULLLT project at the University of Glasgow Robert Owen Centre for Educational Change. Her research experience focuses on lifelong learning and skills policies as well as the delivery of adult and community education initiatives in multi-agency contexts. Ellen holds an MSc in Education, Public Policy and Equity from the University of Glasgow, a PGCE in Secondary Teaching, and a BA in European Social and Political Studies.
